Obituary of Frederick M. Yarusi

Frederick M. Yarusi, age 81, died on Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. He was born in Westfield and had lived in Warren for over 53 years. Mr. Yarusi was a self-employed dry-wall contractor for 60 years. He served in the Navy during World War II and served for 28 years in the Naval Reserves. Mr. Yarusi enjoyed fishing, woodworking and country music. He is predeceased by his brothers, John Yarusi, Edward Yarusi, Albert Yarusi and Daniel Yarusi and his sister, Ellen Merlo. Surviving are his beloved wife, Madeline Brusca Yarusi; his daughters, Sandra Lawson and her husband, Ben and Carol Miller and her husband, Ken Jr.; his sisters, Rose Gulinello, Alice Caruso and Elizabeth Alimonti; his brothers, Ernest Yarusi, Raymond Yarusi and Leon Yarusi; his grandsons, Michael Vincent Miller, Justin Walter Miller and Kenneth Vincent Miller, III. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 9:15 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount Church, Warren. Entombment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Saturday from 7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9.
