Obituary of Rose Tubens

Rose Polanco Tubens, age 65, died on Monday, April 18, 2005 at Integrated Health Services in Bridgewater. She was born and raised in New York City and had lived in Piscataway for 25 years before moving to Hillsborough. Mrs. Tubens was a LPN at Roosevelt Hospital for 13 years. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Outreach Church in Sayreville. Mrs. Tubens enjoyed reading, gardening, crossword puzzles and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Jose Manuel Tubens; her sons, Ricardo Tubens and his wife, Frances of Washington and Jose Tubens and his wife Sara of Norfolk, VA; her daughter Victoria Tubens of Hillsborough and her sister, Jennie Rivera. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Mercedes Tubens, Nicholas Tubens, Adam Tubens, Matthew Tubens and Neece Horton and her great-grandchild, Chanel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2005 at 10:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Rosehill Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
