Obituary of Tillie M. Grillo

Tillie M. Heubach Grillo, age 79, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Union to the late William and Tillie Brautigam Heubach, Mrs. Grillo had lived in Cedar Grove and North Plainfield before moving to Greenbrook Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center two months ago. Mrs. Grillo worked as a clerk at Landmark Pharmacy in North Plainfield. Prior to this she was employed for eleven years at First Atlantic Savings Bank in Plainfield, serving as head teller. Her experience also includes a stint as sales associate at Steinbach department store, formerly Goerks in Plainfield, and bookkeeper at the Automobile Association insurance company in Newark. Mrs. Grillo was an active member of the Trinity Reformed Church in North Plainfield. She enjoyed traveling and trips to Atlantic City. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur A. Grillo in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Alison Grillo of San Francisco, CA; a cousin Doris Trumbower of Mountainside; a niece Nancy Rickvalsky of North Plainfield and a nephew Albert Heubach of South Plainfield. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 4th at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
