Obituary of Frank E. Sautner

Frank E. Sautner, age 80, died on Sunday, August 12th, 2012, at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Fords, he resided in Rahway for over thirty-five years, before moving to Bridgewater in 1991. Frank began his career with Chevron Oil as an accountant/payroll supervisor for twenty-five years. He then went on to work for First Investors for twenty years as a financial advisor and then for the Investment Center in Bridgewater. He also has been preparing taxes for people for over forty years. Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. He also, was a member of Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Martinsville. Frank was a St. Louis Cardinal Fan, a member of the Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Hills, Council Number 5959 and the Elks. Surviving is his loving wife of fifty-seven years Mary (Weidling) Sautner; his son David E. Sautner and his wife Darlene of Warren; daughters Anne Marie Egan and her husband Dennis of Bridgewater, Linda Chabak and her husband Edward of Bridgewater, Susan Vandermeer and her husband James of Bridgewater and Mary Williamson and her fiance James Spinola of Long Valley and his eleven grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 16th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Martinsville. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
