Obituary of Olga A. Shemansky

Olga A. Shemansky, 83, died on Sunday, May 15, 2005 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was born in the Bronx and had lived in Middlesex before moving to Hillsborough in 1981. Prior to her retirement in 1992, she was an office manager for Gittman Brothers Clothing in Somerville. Mrs. Shemansky had been an active member of St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. She is survived by her son, Andrew J. Shemansky, his wife, Karen and their daughter, Stephanie, all of Middlesex. Also surviving is her brother, Nicholas Babich of Ft. Meyers, FL. Services will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 19th at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Service at St. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. Interment will be at St. Vladimirs Cemetery, Jackson, NJ. Panahida Services will be on Wednesday at 8:15 p.m.Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9.
