Obituary of Margaret Long
Margaret Long, age 90, of Morristown, NJ passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Known to most as Peggy, she was born in Wilkes Barre, PA and resided in Elizabeth, Berkeley Heights and Warren, NJ.
The family will be receiving those who wish to express their condolences at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung on Friday, January 11th, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be offered at St. Mary's Stony Hill Church, Watchung on Saturday, January 12th, at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
A woman of many talents, Peggy was an accomplished painter, dance instructor, interior decorator and realtor. But she was best known as "Mom Mom", a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family more than anything in this world. Her generous spirit, intellect and elegant style will be remembered by all those who shared their lives with her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene "Gene" Long in 2003.
Peggy is survived by her daughters, Margaret Marrone of Warren, Colleen Cooper and her husband Tom of Watchung, her son Kevin Long and his wife Gloria of Morristown, as well as five grandchildren, Tricia Paolella of Warren, Kim Cullen of Martinsville, Brian Cooper of Warren, Michael Cooper of North Carolina, Christopher Cooper of Watchung and seven great-grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed.
