Obituary of Frank W “Frank” Mrozek
Mr. Frank W. Mrozek, age 93, died on Sunday May 29th, 2005 at his home in Bridgewater. He was born in Twin Rocks PA and had resided in Linden for many years. Mr. Mrozek had also lived in Saylorsburg PA for five years before moving to Bridgewater in 1980. Prior to retiring in 1975, Mr. Mrozek worked as a manager for Mrozek Auto Sales in Linden for 38 years. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville. Mr. Mrozek was a former 38 year parishioner of St. Theresa of the Little Flower R.C. Church in Linden, where he was an usher and a member of their Holy Name Society. He was a very patient and gentle person and his family was the most important thing to him. After his retirement, Mr. Mrozek enjoyed woodworking in his shop at home, but his true love was baseball. He was an enthusiastic Yankee and Braves fan. Mr. Mrozek is predeceased by one granddaughter Melissa Frances Dasczkiewicz in 2002 He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Josephine (Mankowski) Mrozek; a son, Frank W. Mrozek and his wife Bonnie of Neola, PA; two daughters, Leonore Bampe and her husband Don of Freehold, NJ and Frances Slahta and her husband James of Bridgewater and five grandchildren, Alex and Joanne Slahta, Laura Bampe, Frank and Bill Mrozek. Also surviving is one great granddaughter Heather Dasczkiewicz. Funeral Services will be held at 9:15 am on Thursday June 2nd 2005 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, NJ followed by a 10:00 am funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church in Martinsville. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-9 pm at the funeral home.
