Obituary of Elizabeth Wodrich

Elizabeth Sheelen Wodrich, age 89, died on Sunday June 5th at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Mrs. Wodrich was born in North Plainfield and had lived in Plainfield most of her life. She was a graduate of Holy Trinity High School in Westfield. She was a Realtor and had assisted her late husband William F. Wodrich, Sr. at The Wodrich Agency in North Plainfield. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield where she was a member of the Catholic Women's Club. She also was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in North Plainfield. Mrs. Wodrich was a member of the Auxiliary of Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center, Plainfield, was a former member of Catalpa Twig and had served as Treasurer. Her beloved husband of 63 years William F. Wodrich, Sr. died on May 6, 2004. Surviving are two daughters, Sherry A. Havens and her husband Peter G. of Lebanon and Jeanne L. Sage and her husband Edmund M. of Warren; a son, William F. Wodrich, Jr. and his wife Anne N. of Huson, Montana; nine grand children and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by at 10:00a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m
