Obituary of Sherry L. Caldwell

Sherry L. Caldwell, age 50 died on Monday, June 6, 2005 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. She was born and raised in Newark and had lived in many different places with the US Army. She had been a resident of Plainfield since 1996. She was a member of the Class of 1974 at Plainfield High School. Mrs. Caldwell is predeceased by her father, Steve Caldwell, Sr., her step-father, Augustine Perez, Sr, and two sisters, Deborah and Stephanie Caldwell. Surviving are her mother, Jessie Perez; her sons, Steven Anthony Caldwell and Terrill McKinney Caldwell; her daughter, Nakisha Ayala; three brothers, Steve, Augustine and Anthony; four sisters, Angela, Wanda, Redena and Regina. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Kayla and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10th at 10:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery of Samptown in South Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm.
