Obituary of Harry R. Whittington

Harry R. Whittington, age 76, died on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Brandywine Assisted Living at Middlebrook Crossing. He was born in Plainfield and he resided in Bound Brook most of his life. He moved to Myrtle Beach and had lived there for 7 years before returning to Bound Brook. Prior to his retirement 9 years ago, Mr. Whittington was a self-employed contractor. He was the owner of Harry Whitts Floor Covering in Middlesex for 35 years. He was a member of the Bound Brook Elks, the Middlesex American Legion and he was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Mildred P. Schafer Whittington; his daughter, Patrice P. Greaney and his grandson Eoin Greaney, both of Bound Brook; his sisters, Agnes and Clare and several nephews and nieces. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 10th at 1:00 pm at Bound Brook Cemetery.
