Obituary of Ann K. Yotcoski

Ann Kondracki Yotcoski passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 11, 2005. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on February 12, 1925. Ann was a graduate of Battin High School, Class of 1942. After graduation, she worked for Thomas and Betts Company in Elizabeth. She met and married the love of her life, the late Charles Yotcoski in 1942. Ann was a wonderful wife and mother who supported her church as the president of the St. Josephs the Carpenter Mothers Club for several years. Ann and her family resided in Roselle for over thirty five years. After her retirement from her position as Executive Secretary for the NJ State Department of Transportation, she moved to the Pheasant Run Adult Community in Forked River, NJ. Ann didnt let retirement stop her and she took on several tasks as being the Founding President of the Pheasant Run Womens Club and the Editor of the Pheasant Run Community Newsletter. She was a member of the bowling and shuffleboard league; the Knights of Columbus Womens Auxiliary and was a founding member of the Forked River Red Hat Society. Ann loved to travel, visiting many countries and islands, including Alaska and Australia where she even snorkeled. She was a terrific friend, funny, witty and always ready to listen. She is predeceased by her husband, Charles G. Yotcoski. Ann is survived by her loving children, Susan De Appolonio and her husband, Dennis, Joyce Beeman and her husband Joe and Gerry Yotcoski and his wife, Patti. She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren whom she adored, Catherine and Chris De Appolonio, Elizabeth and Matt Beeman and Charles and Gerry Yotcoski. She is also survived by her brother, John Kondracki and his wife, Mary, her baby brother, Ed Kondracki and his wife, Barbara and Kay and Jean Jackowski, her sisters-in-law, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 9:00 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9.
