Obituary of Rachel C. “Kelly” Esposito

A Mass for Mrs. Rachel Kelly C. Esposito, 97, of Watchung, will be offered on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 10 oclock a.m. at St. Marys Stony Hill R. C. Church, 225 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, following the funeral from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will be at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Mrs. Esposito died on Saturday, July 2nd at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in the Warren-Watchung area for 53 years. She and her late husband, Louis, owned and operated Watchung Valley Nurseries in Warren for more than fifty years. Surviving are a son Ronald and his wife Barbara of Hillside, a daughter Marie Del Vento and her husband Benjamin of Watchung, a brother Anthony Bisco, four grandchildren, Ronald Esposito, Jr., Julia and Ray Bitterbid, Benjamin and Karen Del Vento, Matthew and Mary Ann Del Vento and the late Rocco Esposito and four great grandchildren Vincent and Nicholas Esposito and Nicole and Rachel Betterbid. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-10 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in her memory to the Watchung Rescue Squad, 10 Stirling Rd., Watchung, NJ 07069 would be deeply appreciated.
