Obituary of Nancy Singer

Nancy Singer, age 83, died on Sunday, September 4th at Overlook Hospital in Summit. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and had lived in Whitestone, NY before moving to Watchung in 2004. Mrs. Singer was a member of the Royal Air Force in Great Britain during World War II. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed life. She is survived by husband, Norman Singer; her son Donald Singer and his wife, My-Anh of College Point, NY; her daughter Lucie Longworth and her husband David of Millburn, NJ; 3 grandchildren, Thomas and his wife, Giselle Singer, Lisa and her husband, John Carroll and Vanessa Rose Longworth and 3 great-grandchildren, Skylar and Sarina Singer and Megan Carroll. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 600 First Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869-1346.
