Obituary of Henry H. Gaiser

Henry H. Gaiser, age 92, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Country Arch Care Center in Union Township. He was born in Germany and had lived in Brooklyn and Irvington before moving to Warren 52 years ago. Mr. Gaiser was the owner of Gaisers Pork Store in Union for 52 years. He owned a horse farm and enjoyed watching and racing his horses. He was a sponsor of Little League Baseball and Soccer teams. He played soccer for the German Sport Club of Brooklyn. Mr. Gaiser is predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Fackiener Gaiser and his son, Manfred Gaiser, both in 1995. Surviving are his sons, Richard Gaiser of Warren, Erich Gaiser of California and Thomas Gaiser of Georgia. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9th at 12:00 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 600 First Avenue, Raritan, NJ 08869-1346.
