Obituary of Martha P. Kollmar

Martha Pelikan Kollmar, age 93, died on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. She was born in Pleasant City, Ohio and lived in Ohio and Far Hills, NJ until 1992 when she moved to Laramie, Wyoming and then to Berkeley Heights a year ago. Mrs. Kollmar received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. She was an Elementary Science teacher and had taught at Far Hills Country Day School for over 20 years. After her retirement, she volunteered for the Audubon Society in Bernardsville for a number of years. She enjoyed bird watching, rock collecting and crossword puzzles. Mrs. Kollmar is predeceased by her husband, John Jack Kollmar in 2000. She is survived by her son, John H. Kollmar of Fairbanks, Alaska and his 4 children, Allison, Charles, Lauren and Olivia; her daughter Denise E. Greller and her husband, Martin of Warren, NJ and their 2 children, Christopher and Katie. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Laramie, Wyoming. Interment is private. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ 07069.
