Obituary of Sally Fromm Cohen

Mrs. Sally Fromm Cohen, 92, daughter of the late Samuel and Anna Azarkowitz, died Monday, October 10, 2005 at Boca Raton Community Hospital. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in Plainfield, NJ and Reading, PA before moving to South Florida 20 years ago. Prior to retiring, she was employed as a retail outlet manager for Astor Swimwear in Reading, PA. Mrs. Cohen was a member of ORT, the Hadassah of Plainfield, NJ, Reading, PA and Florida and was a member of the Temple Oheb Sholom Sisterhood in Reading, PA. Her first husband Louis D Fromm predeceased her in 1962, her second husband Samuel B. Cohen, died in 1976 and a brother Sidney Azarkowitz predeceased her. Surviving are a son, Bernard Fromm and his wife Barbara of Pocono Pines, PA; two daughters, Judy Lappen and her husband Gilbert of Bethlehem, PA and Penni Fromm and her husband Mark Rosenfeld of Boca Raton, FL; two stepsons, Nelson and Bruce Cohen and his wife Sharyn, all of Reading, PA; two sisters, Bertha Berkowitz of Ft. Lee, NJ and Tillie Schustrin of Erwina, PA; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 14 at 12 noon at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ with Rabbi Moshe Samber officiating followed by interment at Hebrew Cemetery in South Plainfield, NJ.
