Obituary of Barbara M. Temprovich

Barbara M. Temprovich, age 86, died on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Berkeley Heights Nursing and Convalescent Center in Berkeley Heights. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio and had lived in Coudersport, PA before moving to Green Brook 59 years ago. Mrs. Temprovich received her nurses' training at St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Erie, PA. Prior to her retirement in 1984, Mrs. Temprovich was a nurse at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. She was a member of the Green Brook Senior Citizens and the Pieced Together Quilters. Mrs. Temprovich had established a large rose garden with over fifty rose plants and many different varieties which was admired by all of her neighbors. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank V. Temprovich in 1996; her son, David Temprovich in 1950; her daughter, Carol Ann Temprovich in 1952 and her sisters, Claire Baugher and Marilyn Peterson. Survivng are her sons, Dale M. Temprovich of Valley View, PA, Lee V. Temprovich of Green Brook and Alan D. Temprovich of Green Brook; her daughter, Rita M. Temprovich of Plainfield; her brother, Cloyd Duncan of CA; her sister, Shirley Nemitz of Conneaut, OH . Also surviving are her 3 grandchildren, Nicole, Eric and Wayne and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung with an 8:00 pm service. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Sartwell Creek Cemetery, Burtwell, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.
