Obituary of Joan M. Jersek

Joan M. Jersek, age 60, died on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at her home in South Bound Brook. She was born in New Brunswick and had lived in Bridgewater before moving to South Bound Brook in 1994. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Jersek worked in the sales and interior design department for Lloyds of Somerville. She enjoyed gardening and loved to cook. Mrs. Jersek is survived by her husband, Edward W. Jersek; her sons, Rick H. Syers of Dunellen, Ryan T. Jersek of South Bound Brook, Edward J. Jersek of Pawleys Island, SC and Mark Allen Jersek of Bernardsville; her daughters, Tammy Lynn Mignella of South Bound Brook and Tracey Ann Pelfrey of Newport News, VA; her sister, Julia Hamilton of Fond du Lac, WI and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15th at 10 am at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains.
