Obituary of Marjorie A. Gavin

Mrs. Marjorie A. Trewhella Gavin, 86, died Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born and raised in Jersey City, she resided in Red Bank, NJ and West Palm Beach, FL before moving to Warren nine years ago. A frequent library patron, Mrs. Gavin read an average of 5 to 7 books a week. Her husband Leo Gavin predeceased her in 1989. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Gavin and his wife Sophia of Holmdel and David J. Gavin and his wife Susan of Warren; a daughter Janice Gross and her husband Rob of Lexington, NC; two grandchildren and one great grandson. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Wilson Memorial Union Church, Valley Rd. and Hillcrest Rd. in Watchung. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals in Watchung.
