Obituary of Belle Jacobson

Belle Jacobson, age 90, died on Friday, December 16, 2005 at Harborside Health Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Edison and South Plainfield before moving to Bridgewater over 10 years ago. Prior to her retirement 20 years ago, Mrs. Jacobson was a Department Manager in the Fabric Dept. at Montgomery Ward in Plainfield and Menlo Park and also for Macys in Menlo Park. She was a volunteer for over 40 years for Deborah Hospital. Mrs. Jacobson is predeceased by her sisters, Esther Kulak and Stelle Mendelson. Surviving are her daughter, Lynn Vitale and her husband Jim of Bridgewater; her grandson, Donald Vitale and his wife, Kristin, her granddaughter, Stacey Vitale and great granddaughter, Jenna Rose Vitale. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 18th at 1:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Hebrew Cemetery, South Plainfield. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Deborah Hospital, 7 Centre Drive, Suite 10, Jamesburg, NJ 08831-3101.
