Obituary of Jennie Grace Herman

Jennie Grace Herman, age 97, died on Friday, December 30, 2005 at Care One at Holmdel. She was born in Green Point, Brooklyn, NY and had lived in, Forked River, Whiting and Middletown before moving to Holmdel in February 2005. Mrs. Herman was a homemaker who loved doting on her husband of 70 years and her children and grandchildren. She was a longtime member of the Forked River Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Herman was predeceased by her husband, Adolph Herman, in 1996 and her daughter, Marie Naples in 1978. Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy H. Snyder of Bedminster, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung with the Rev. Robert Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at Lake Nelson Memorial Park in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
