Obituary of Maria E. Benitez

Maria E. Castro Benitez, age 49, died on February 23, 2006 at Care One in Morristown. She was born in El Salvador and had lived in Plainfield before moving to Warren in 1993. Mrs. Benitez was a homemaker. She was a Communicant of St. Marys Church in Plainfield. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and caring for her family. Mrs. Benitez is survived by her husband, Victor M. Benitez; her children, Victor I. Benitez, Esteven L. Benitez, Hilda Y. Benitez and Rina Y. Benitez, all of Warren; her parents, Nicolsa and Hilda Calles Castro of Piscataway; her brothers, Alfonso Castro of Piscataway, Abraham Castro of Dunellen, Felix Castro, Alfredo Castro, Carlos Castro, Angel Castro and Herman Castro all of Piscataway and her sisters, Maria Esperanza Abrego, Maria Blanca Benitez and Maria Hilda Amaya, all of Piscataway. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 10 am Mass of Resurrection at St. Marys Church in Plainfield. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 . Interment will be at Anamoros Cemetery, La Union, El Salvador.
