Obituary of Anna Bowman

North Plainfield: Anna E. Bowman, age 99 died on Saturday, March11, 2006 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical center in Plainfield. She was a lifelong North Plainfield resident. Mrs. Bowman was a ticket agent for the Jersey Central Railroad for over 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Lydia Chapter in Plainfield as a color bearer. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She is predeceased by her husband, Elmer H. Bowman in 1976, her son Ernest H. Bowman. Surviving are her daughter, Bette A. Stivala and her husband Alex of Nanuet, NY, 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield. Funeral service times will be announced.
