Obituary of Dorothy D´Apice

Dorothy (Tuohey) DApice, age 87, died on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Greenbrook Manor Nursing Home in Green Brook. Born in Milton, MA. she resided in Newark and North Plainfield. Mrs. DApice was a member of St. Josephs Church in North Plainfield, she enjoyed going to Muhlenberg Adult Day Care and loved knitting and sewing in her spare time. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. DApice is predeceased by her husband Diego DApice in (2001). She is survived by her son Diego Vito DApice, Jr. of Monroe; Chris DApice of North Plainfield and her daughter Cindy DApice of North Plainfield; her five sisters Ruth, Alice, Katherine, Peggy and Ann; and her two grandchildren Jessica and Amanda DApice. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 17 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in East Orange. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. only at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069.
