In high school in the 60s, Robert Germinsky and I shared a paper route in Plainfield. One winter day we came back to his house chilled to the bone with our shoes and socks soaked with icy water from melting snow. Robbie's mother tossed our socks in the dryer and got us warmed up. I biked home in dry shoes. Elaine Germinsky was a wonderful warm person. I remember her this way because of her kindness.
