Dear Al,
I am so sorry that I am not in New Jersey to tell you personally how very sorry I am at the loss of Martha. She was such an inspiration and so very dedicated to the library. So very many people will miss her smile and enthusiasm and her incredible work ethic! I will always think of her with affection and will remember her diligently co-chairing the Used Book sales, attending meetings, and talking about the fabulous Elderhostel trips that the two of you experienced. She was a very special person and I am thankful I had a chance to know and work with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you and her brothers.
