Obituary of Jeannie K. Geibel

Jeannie K. (Szatkiewicz) Geibel, age 82, died on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 in Summit. She was born in Bayonne and had lived in Warren for 48 years. Mrs. Geibel was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader and a member of the Warren Senior Citizens, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Belmont C. Geibel in 1997,her daughter-in-law Diane Geibel in 2000 and her brother, William Szatkiewicz in 2005. Surviving are her sons, Belmont C. Geibel, Jr. of Warren and Dean S. Geibel and his wife Tara of Summit; her daughter, Donna S. Hawkins of Montana and her husband, Randy and her sister, Irene Sims of Union. Also surviving are her 7 grandchildren, Scott Geibel, Tammy Geibel, Seth Hawkins, John Belmont Geibel, Kohl Geibel, Colin Geibel and Ava Geibel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. Cremation is private.
