Obituary of Alec K. Fung
Alec K. Fung of Bedminster, age 76 died on February 2, 2013 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ. Mr. Fung was born and raised in Canton, China, moved to Hong Kong, then Union, NJ for 28 years, before moving to Bedminster a year and a half ago.
Mr. Fung received his Masters in Mathematics at Kean University in Union. He was a Professor of Mathematics at Union County College. Mr. Fung also worked on payroll taxes at Chase Manhattan Bank.
He was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, especially to Europe.
Mr. Fung is predeceased by his wife Anna (Chan) Fung in 1999, his mother, Sau Man (Tsai) Fung and his father Gom Sheung Fung.
He is survived by his only daughter Alicia Leung and her husband Paul, two grandchildren Gavin and Anna, and two sisters.
