Obituary of Lillian Dell Beni

Lillian Penrose Dell Beni, age 79 died on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. She was born in Plainfield and grew up in New Market and had lived in Virginia before moving to Green Brook where she spent most of her life. Prior to her retirement in 1988, Mrs. Dell Beni was a babysitter for the Strike-n-Spare Bowling Alley in Green Brook. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount Church in Warren and a past member of St. Johns Church in Dunellen and was also a member of the Green Brook Rescue Squad Auxillary. Mrs. Dell Beni was very involved with all of her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Dell Beni in 1992, who was a life member of the Green Brook Rescue Squad. Surviving are her sons, Frank A. Dell Beni, Jr., Joseph M. Dell Beni and Thomas E. Dell Beni and her daughter, Frances Weidemann. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m.Mass of Resurrection at Our Lady of the Mount Church. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery, Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9.
