Obituary of Karolina S. Babriecki

Karolina Babriecki, age 74, died at her home in North Plainfield on Wednesday, April 5, 2006. She was born and raised in Newark and spent most of her adult life in Union before recently moving to North Plainfield. Miss Babriecki earned a Bachelors Degree from Newark State Teachers College and a Masters Degree from New York University. She also continued on to earn many more college credits. Prior to retirement, she was an art teacher for many years in Atlantic Highlands, Irvington, Cranford and Newark. Surviving are her brother Steve Babriecki and her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 8:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield. Entombment will be at St. Gertudes Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be on Friday from 7-9 p.m. only.
