Obituary of Evelyn H. Benjamin

Mrs. Evelyn H. (Hitchcock) Benjamin, age 83, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Eastern Star Nursing Home in Bridgewater. Mrs. Benjamin was born in Formosa, Japan to the late Henry Booth Hitchcock and Sarah Johnston and had lived in Mansfield Center, CT and Honeybrook, PA before residing in Basking Ridge. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Benjamin in 1996. Mrs. Benjamin is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Knox of Basking Ridge, Marilyn Wassman of Hyattsville, MD and Jacalyn Johnson of Summit; a sister Sarah Suddell of Sarasota, FL; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services and interment are private. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung, NJ.
