Obituary of Alfred C. Lee

Mr. Alfred Clearence Lee, Sr., age 78, died on Friday, April 7, 2006 at his home with his family. Mr. Lee was born in Jersey City and has lived in Plainfield for the past 46 years. He worked for Western Electric in Kearny as a Machinist. He also had his own detective service, which he started in 1973. Mr. Lee was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Plainfield. He was an Army veteran, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and horseracing. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Edwards Lee. His two daughters, Rosemarie McDuffie and Kemper Lee Mitchell and her husband Marvin. Two grandchildren, Kenya Allen and Naya Allen. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 12th at 11:30 in the Higgins Home for Funerals, Plainfield. The visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge.
