Obituary of William A. Kasper Sr.
William A. Kasper Sr., age 94 died on Sunday April 16, 2006 at the Green Brook Manor Nursing Home in Green Brook NJ. Mr. Kasper was born Brooklyn NY and had resided in Watchung since 1942. Prior to retiring in 1973 Mr. Kasper worked for over thirty years as a foreman for Union Carbide in Middlesex NJ. He was an avid saltwater fisherman. Mr. Kasper is predeceased by his wife Madeline Closter Kasper in 1971, his long time companion Mildred Rehm in 1997 and a son-in-law Richard Oakley. He is survived by two sons William A. Kasper Jr. and his wife Sandra of Flemington NJ and Arthur W. Kasper and his wife Nancy of Bricktown NJ; a daughter Anna May Oakley of Tucson AZ; two brothers Louis Kasper of PA and Franklin Kasper of Freeport LI; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by the entire Rehm family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 4/18/06 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ (908) 756-0017.
