Obituary of Fausto Fabian Ramos

Mr. Fausto Fabian Ramos, age 51, died on Saturday, April 22, 2006, after being fatally struck by a marked police cruiser. Mr. Ramos came to the United States from Ecuador 22 years ago. He had lived in Plainfield for 9 years and then moved to North Plainfield where he has resided for the past 13 years. Mr. Ramos has worked for 19 years in construction with the Garden Homes Company in Short Hills. He was a communicant of St. Joseph R.C. Church in North Plainfield. He is predeceased by his parents, Fausto Ramos and Ercilia Mites. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Ayala Ramos and his 5 children, Leny, Tatiana, Santiago, Maria F. and Pete Ramos; 2 brothers, 1 sister and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield followed by an 10 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Joseph R.C. Church, North Plainfield. Interment will be in Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
