Obituary of James J. Hutchison, Sr.

James J. Hutchison, Sr., 78, died Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he resided in Watchung for 46 years. Prior to retiring16 years ago, Mr. Hutchison worked for over 50 years as an electrician for the IBEW Local 102 in Parsippany. He served in the British Army for two years. Mr. Hutchison was a member of Millington Baptist Church in Millington. He was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alicia (Morales) Hutchison; two sons, James J. Hutchison, Jr. and his wife Mary Belle of Somerville and Robert C. Hutchison and his wife Suzanne of Newtown, PA; a sister, Mary Pilkington of England, five grandchildren, Michele Worster, Melissa, Melanie, Emily and Peter Hutchison and three great-grandchildren, Lily and Charlie Worster and Aaron Santo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 10 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung, followed by interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
