To the Leiz Family:
I was sorry to hear of Steven's passing. I met him and many of you when he was a patient at the Kessler Institute. He was a wonderful, delightful and charming gentleman. His family is pretty terrific too.
Sincerely,
Dr. Joyce</b></font><br><br>

To Steve's Family,
I was so sad to hear of Steve's passing. His loss will be felt by many people whose lives he touched in such a wonderful way. He was so full of life, compassion and intelligence. He helped me through a difficult time when I was moving my sister to live near me. She has MS and is in a wheelchair. Steve helped me look for housing, gave me advice on handicapped equipment and, most of all, gave me an insight on the psyche of wheelchair living.
I feel blessed that our paths crossed and I will miss him.

I was so sorry to hear about Steven's passing. He was such an amazing man. I came to know Steven while he was an inpatient at Kessler Institute. There were many times we would pass each other in the hallway and talk. He always made it a point to come and visit me whenever he came back to Kessler for a visit. He was the most gentle and sweetest man. I will always remember Steven for his "piercing eyes" and gorgeous smile. You couldn't help but smile back when you saw his face.
God Bless you Steven. You will be missed.
With Sympathy,
Gail Kronert-Newfeld</b></font><br><br>

I have many fond memories of Steve from our time during elementary school at Washington School, and at Kawameeh Junior High. Steve always had a great big smile for everyone and a helping hand as well.
