Obituary of Michele Lynn Winton

Michele Lynn (Angiletta) Winton was born on November 26, 1955 in Southington, CT. to parents Michael Angiletta and Phyllis Wilson Angiletta. As a teenager she enjoyed working with retarded children at the Greenshire School in Cheshire, CT. She graduated Cheshire High School in 1973. Upon graduation she worked for the Southern New England Telephone Company in New Haven and was featured on the covers of the 1976 SNET Annual Shareholders Report and the 1978 Centenial Edition of the New Haven Book of Names. She was married to Craig Brewster Winton on April 4, 1981 in Maplewood, NJ and just celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary. She was a member of the Watchung Optimists, a Board Member and Coach for the Watchung Little League and the Watchung Cub Scouts, Pack 32 Committee Chairperson. She was accomplished in many forms of art, including sculpture, painting, stenciling, costume design and topiary. She earned a Certificate from The Katherine Gibbs School in Piscataway, NJ in Graphics Design in 2000 and worked at Park Lane Photos in Chatham, specializing in Photo Reconstruction from 2000 to 2005, which is when she was no longer able to work. She was well known for her love of the wildlife ever present in her backyard. She will be sadly missed by her husband and her two sons, William Brewster, II and Alexander David both of Watchung; her mother, Phyllis Wilson Kuhn; her sisters, Holly Myers and April Lavoie, all of Brattleboro, VT., and aunts, uncles and close family friends. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. only. The interment and graveside services will be on Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse Hill Cemetery, Brattleboro, VT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital, P.O. Box 501, St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in her memory, would be appreciated.
