Obituary of Mary Margaret Lutz
Mary Margaret Lutz, 55, died on her birthday, Friday, June 9, 2006 at Morristown Memorial Hospital of injuries sustained in a horseback riding accident. Born in Springfield, she resided in Basking Ridge for the past 20 years. Mary Margaret received a Degree in Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson University. As Director of Endurance and Para Equestrian Sport Programs for the US Equestrian Federation, Inc. in Gladstone for the past 15 years, Mary Margaret had the opportunity to travel the world. Surviving are her parents Michael and Mary Dwyer Lutz of Watchung and her horse Gypsy Hero Hoagie. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday June 24, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Joseph in Stirling followed by a reception in the trophy room at the U.S. Equestrian Federation, Inc.,1040 Pottersville Rd., Gladstone, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the US Equestrian Federation, Inc., P.O. Box 83, Gladstone, NJ 07934 for a fund in her name or to The Shrine of St. Joseph, 1050 Long Hill Rd., Stirling, NJ would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
