Obituary of Joseph C. Dunn

Joseph C. Dunn of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on February 11, 2013, at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Joe was born on December 12, 1923, in Hoboken, NJ. After proudly serving in the United States Air Force during World War II where he flew 32 combat missions over Germany in B-17 and C-47 airplanes, he met and married his beloved wife, Marion, also from Hoboken. Joe and Marion resided in Hoboken and Port Reading with their two sons and moved to Bridgewater in 1995. Joe was a partner in the law firm of Florio, Dunn, and Marciano in Hoboken and served as a municipal court judge in Woodbridge Township. Joe and Marion loved to travel and the family traveled extensively around the globe. Joe is survived by his wife Marion; his son Joseph P. Dunn and his daughter-in-law, Regina of Durango, CO; his son James J. Dunn and his daughter-in-law, Joanne of Stockton, NJ, and four grandchildren: Teresa, Brian, Michael and Kaitlyn. A public visitation will be held at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ on Thursday, February 14th from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. A private Mass will be held the following day at St. Mary's Stony Hill RC Church in Watchung with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
