Obituary of John Thomas Fus

John Thomas Fus, age 82, died on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at Integrated Health Service at Somerset Valley in Bound Brook. He was born in Chester, PA and had lived in Roselle before moving to Martinsville. Mr. Fus graduated from Roselle High School and then served in the Army Air Force during World War II for 3 years. He also attended a 2 year Aeronautical School. Prior to his retirement in 1986, Mr. Fus was an aircraft technician for TWA for 38 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #507 in Bridgewater and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. He enjoyed his home, gardening and his family. Mr. Fus is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Aniela Brewka Fus; his brother Joseph Fus and his sister Jane Ispan. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Concetta Iarussi Fus; his son, John Joseph Fus; his sister, Mary Novakowski and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10 am Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Entombment will be at St. Bernards Cemetery, in Bridgewater. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9.
