Obituary of Maria Lostan

Maria Lostan, 85 died on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at her home in Cranford. She was born in Germany and had lived in Newark before moving to Cranford over 40 years ago. Mrs. Lostan worked for many years at the A&P bakery in Newark. She was a homemaker and was an avid gardener. She is predeceased by her husband, Ramazan Lostan in 1992. Surviving are her son, Sal Lostan and his wife Becky of Warren; her sister, Ingeborg Hubl of Germany and her 3 grandchildren, Markus, Tyler and Hunter Lostan. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. only.
