Obituary of Mary J. Nazemetz

North Plainfield: Mary J. Nazemetz, 87 died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Daughter of the late Barbara and Michael A. Dzuryak, she was born in Bethlehem, PA and was raised in Plainfield, graduating from Plainfield High School in 1936. She was a fifty-eight year resident of North Plainfield. She was employed by Bambergers/Macys for over twenty five years until the Plainfield store closed. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Nazemetz in 1995 and her brothers, Joseph Dzuryak and Michael Duane. Mary is survived by a sister, Ann Hughes of Stewartsville, NJ; her daughters, Marjorie Norquist and her husband John of Warwick, RI and Judith Nazemetz and her husband, Michael Colasuonno of Los Angeles, CA; her son, James J. Nazemetz and his wife, Patricia of Sleepy Hollow, NY; her grandchildren, Kenneth B. Knox, Kimberly J. Knox, Jill Nazemetz, Anne Nazemetz and Nicholas Colasuonno and her great-grandchildren, Katherine and Tyler Knox. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31st at 9:15 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church. Entombment will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 8 p.m.
