Obituary of Candice Del Nero

Candice Del Nero, a longtime resident, died Friday, August 11, 2006 at her home. Born in Alabama, she resided in Scotch Plains before moving to Watchung 30 years ago. A homemaker and former model, she loved to garden, listen to music, dance and sing. She was a talented artist who enjoyed sketching and painting. Surviving are her four children, Robert Thompson and his wife Jeanette of Sedona, AZ, Brenda C. Thompson of Scotch Plains, Debra Fela of Basking Ridge and Pamela Aguilar and her husband Jose of Watchung; five grandchildren, Daniel Irovando of Liverpool, NY, Kimberly Fela of Scotch Plains, Shannon Fela of Basking Ridge and Dana and Derek Aguilar of Watchung; two great grandchildren, Danny and Tiffani Irovando of Liverpool, NY; ex-husband Daniel Del Nero and a sister, Verna Labo and her husband Alan of Kenner, LA.and also several nephews and nieces. Private Funeral Services were held at the Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung. Donations to the Melanoma Research Foundation, 24 Old Georgetown Road, Princeton, NJ 08540 would be appreciated.
