Obituary of Philip B. Underwood

Watchung: Mr. Philip B. Underwood, age 49, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at his home. Mr. Underwood was born in Newark, had lived in Springfield before residing in Watchung 10 years ago. He graduated from Northwood Institute in Michigan with a degree in Automobile Marketing and Management. Mr. Underwood worked as a contractor for J. P. Customs Home Design in Roseland. He is a communicant of St. Marys Stony Hill Church, Watchung. He enjoyed fishing and boating. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Lindwall Bower-Underwood; his daughter, Sarah Anne Underwood; his three sons, Sean Matthew Bower, Matthew Edward Bower and Justin Francis Bower; his parents, Lake, Sr. and Sadie Underwood of Roseland; his brother, Lake Underwood, Jr. and his wife Tina of Summit; his sister, Dr. Jody Underwood of Providence, RI. The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 8:30 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. Marys Stony Hill Church, Watchung.
