Obituary of Elizabeth Cromie
Warren: Elizabeth Bornheimer Cromie, age 89 died on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at St. Peters University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was born and raised in New Brunswick and had lived in Milltown for 40 years before moving to Warren 12 years ago. Mrs. Cromie was a bookkeeper for Rutgers University in New Brunswick and prior to that, she had worked for Johnson & Johnson. She was a Communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville and a former Communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes in Milltown. Her husband, James Cromie predeceased her in 1983. Surviving are her daughters, Marjorie Strozeski and her husband Henry of Moorestown and Elizabeth Ferges and her husband Dr. Mitchell Ferges of Warren and her grandchildren, Dr. Janet Strozeski, Ellen DiMambro, Anne Strozeski, Amy Ferges, Timothy Ferges, William Ferges and Katherine Ferges. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at St. Peters Cemetery in New Brunswick. Memorial donations may be made to the Midland School Foundation, P.O. Box 5026, North Branch, NJ 08876.
