I worked for Alfons for many years at the Lancaster plant. He was a wonderful boss. He was a caring, compassionate person and had a great sense of humor. I never met anyone like him, he had more facts and figures in his head than the Guiness Book of Records. His 70+ pound briefcase had all the papers he needed to run his division. He will be missed by many and I want to convey my condolences to his family, especially Alex, whom I know personally.
