Obituary of William P. Kingman
William P. Kingman, age 95, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at his home in Martinsville. He was born in Watchung and had lived in Warren from 1944 to 2000 and then moved to Martinsville. Mr. Kingman was a farmer and a mechanic working for Lofts Seed Company in Martinsville for many years. He was a member of the Mount Bethel Baptist Church in Warren, the National Rifle Association, the Warren Protective Association and the South Side Anglers Fishing Club of South Bound Brook. Mr. Kingman enjoyed hunting, gardening and wood cutting. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, having owned over 15 motorcycles throughout his life and continued to ride them until the age of 90. He also loved spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his wife, Esther Mason Kingman, his son, Charles Everett Kingman, his brother, Elmer Kingman, 2 grandsons, Dale Marsh and Dan Kingman and his foster son, Charles Drenkhahn. Surviving are his sons, Frederick William Kingman and his wife, Gladys Mae of Warren and Albert E. Kingman and his wife Daria of Warren; his daughters, Elaine Johnson and her husband Arthur of Bethel, PA and Irene Marsh and her husband Douglas of Martinsville. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by interment at Mt. Horeb Cemetery, Warren.
