Obituary of Phyllis Yannuzzi

Phyllis LaVista Yannuzzi of Bedminster passed away on February 12, 2013. She was born in Newark, NJ and enjoyed being a homemaker. Additionally, she was employed at Bloomfield High School for many years. Phyllis was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and is survived by the love of her life for 62 years, her husband Paul, her son Paul, her daughter Angel and her husband Steve and their 3 children Steve, Nicholas, and Ariana Voultepsis, her sisters Yola Alverso and her husband Tom, Anne Valvano and her husband Sal, and brothers Michael and Joseph LaVista. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
