The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the path of righteousness
For His name`s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You ARE with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me;
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
(Psalm 23)

Joanie Follmer posted a condolence

As far back as I can remember, Uncle Rip and the Eberle clan have been especially close to our family, participating in our lives through thick and thin. Although technically cousin to my mother, Irene Martin Follmer (an only child), Uncle Rip was as close to mom as any brother could have been. I write with gratitude for having him and my Aunt Doreen, cousins Colleen, Kurt, and Skip and their families in my life; and with sympathy for all who now feel the loss of his presence.
I always enjoyed hearing the history of mom's side of the family as Uncle Rip shared it. And no one I know made a meaner potato salad or homemade German sausage. Uncle Rip, I miss you already.
Love, Joanie

To the Eberle Family, This was given to me when my mom passed away. I have kept it close to me. I want to share this with you. What matters when you join the fold if your name is called when young or old? In looking back, I think you'll find what counts is what you leave behind.Not Riches,Jewels,not your wealth,not even pain. Not robust health. So manyleave all these and more. When passing to the other shore. The only legacy that death defies is LOVE. That lives. That never dies. Sogive your life,spend all your years in shedding joy, give smiles not tears, then when death claims it's time to sever you'll live in loving hearts forever.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Uncle Rip was always so kind to me. I remember with great fondness my grandma Irene escorting us on trips to Warren. The Eberle parties were always fun. I was very young but I seem to remember football or the sport of the season was usually on television. And the food...Aunt Doreen always made sure my plate was full. These wonderful memories of Uncle Rip and the family will always remain etched in my mind.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.
With Love,
