Obituary of Lena Helen Katz

Thomasville, GA: Lena Rossky Katz, age 90, died December 12, 2006 at the Camellia Gardens Nursing Home, Thomasville, Georgia, where she was a resident for nine years. She was born May 18, 1916 in Hartford, Connecticut to Esther and Jacob Rossky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Martin Katz, and her brother, William Rossky. She was a long time resident of North Plainfield, New Jersey, having been a mother and homemaker. She is survived by her son, daughter-in-law, and only grandchild, Edward, Melinda and Elizabeth Katz, of Thomasville, Georgia. In lieu-of-flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Graveside services for Lena Rossky Katz will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2006 in the Hebrew Cemetery, South Plainfield, New Jersey. Rabbi Moshe Samber, formerly of the Temple Beth-El, will officiate. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home For Funerals, Plainfield, NJ.
